Rayland Baxter plays Ventura Music Hall on September 22nd at 8pm. The Tennessee singer-songwriter is touring behind his album If I Were a Butterfly, which he spent over a year creating at a converted studio in rural Kentucky, working with co-producers Tim O'Sullivan and Kai Welch to craft lush, psychedelic pop songs. The record features collaborations with artists like Shakey Graves and Lennon Stella, and includes pedal steel work from his late father on two tracks. General admission tickets are standing room only, with a limited number of first-come, first-served seats available.
